Thanks for dropping by. I hope we can assist. Additional projects, changing schedules and physical limitations affect us all equally. If you don't know how to solve them, it can be quite intimidating. We understand that, and collectively we're here to help; whether it be a display repair at Benjamin Moore in Nanaimo, BC, a fixture install at Best Buy, Corner Brook, NF, a last minute union unpack and place at 7AM at HBC in Toronto or a full crew to support a project in Houston, TX  - we've all faced limits. Hopefully one of our members might be able to help you.

ASSOCIATED NATIONAL FIXTURE INSTALLERS is a fixture service group organized to support those in the trade, both in the Canadian and the United States markets. ANFI is a resource-based, not a sales-driven, fraternity. Selling and marketing to each other is frowned upon.

Our purpose is solely to create a network of like-minded entrepreneurs who operate customer-service-oriented, incorporated businesses, that are engaged in fixture installation and related services in North America, and who have successfully completed the Approval process below. Due to rules and regulations this excludes individuals operating as sole proprietorships, or those without proper insurance coverage.

 
We welcome carpenters and electricians, and those who are journeymen, apprentices, or career handymen. Union and non-union businesses are welcome.

 
ANFI was created due to the difficulty I had in finding reliable trades and the restrictions some tradesmen felt they were under to be able to discuss a direct relationship due to competitive reasons, even though they had available time to take on additional work. The ANFI process adheres to strong ethical standards, and opens up a potentially mutually beneficial conversation, as it is an open forum approach.

 
That said, if you are under a strict written contract, and have limiting or binding restrictions that may cause conflict, please do not submit your name for consideration. There will be no forward value for any of us.

 
        Our motto is simple: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”


Far too often we are left with opportunities that we cannot fulfill. Either because projects are out of our direct service area and we have no trustworthy connection, or because our teams are fully booked.

 
Yet our client wants to work with us because we have provided them a perceived value. ANFI will hopefully be able to provide a connection to support you. A 2-way reciprocal bridge. Over time we hope to cover all regions in North America with local talent. We eventually hope to create a ZIP and postal code reference data-base, so your frequent referrals are critical. Tell those who you respect about our site and have them contact me for consideration.



This is a member-generated talent pool. It is 'for the members, by the members.' ANFI does not add names from the phone book.

 
This website is set up purely to raise awareness of the ANFI Mission and to engage qualified business for their support in their direct service area – thus, to the benefit of all those who have been Approved.



The Approval process is a simple one, and includes you providing ANFI with similar information that you yourself might request of a new customer.


           ANFI cannot guarantee the quality or actions of any Approved member.



This is a referral-based networking-marketplace. As such, due diligence must still be done by you before engaging in any pay-for-service relationship, as you would in any transaction. In fact, we encourage you to sign your own agreements with any Approved ANFI member you wish to work with. We all know the rule: he with the best paper wins. So take a moment to do it correctly and do it all in writing! And live up to your commitment - we all know how truly small our community is; news travels fast. Both Good – and Bad.



Please remember: this is not a marketing vehicle, nor is it a way to generate retail sales; it is purely a wholesale assist mechanism, for when you are in need with ongoing, or future projects.



The cost to become part of our peer-to-peer platform is FREE. And once set up, you will be provided password protected access to a separate private website where your Approval docs will be visible to all other Approved members for their consideration.
